Tong Peal Screen Sizing – For high capacity sizing with accuracy and gentle handling our screen graders will perform as you want.  Systems are designed to meet your needs, are well engineered using high quality components and are long lasting with very low maintenance costs.

Three screen types are available.

Metal – square mesh – almost any size from 20mm to 100mm.

Metal – hexagonal – almost any size from 38mm to 100mm.

Plastic – square – 30mm to 80mm in 5mm increments.

Rubber – square, hexagonal and round.

Two Lengths

Standard – this has a grading length of 1.5m with one row of agitators which is ideal for normal working conditions. 

Extended – with a 300mm longer grading length and two rows of agitators better separation of tubers can be had in extreme conditions.

Anti-Cut Rollers

Each screen is fitted with an ejection system which alleviates damage to long tubers.

Drive Motors

Each Easy-Grade screen section has two mechanical variable speed motors.  One is for the forward speed of the screen.  One is for the speed of the agitator rollers.  By adjusting the speed of each motor the desired separation of tubers and tons per hour are achieved.

Side Delivery Conveyor

Each Easy-Grade screen section has a conveyor for the tubers which pass through the screen and delivers the crop to the side.  900mm wide belt for the standard screen and 1200mm for the extended model.  The conveyor has an endless self-tracking belt, is fitted on rollers and has a reversing switch for belt direction.

Transfer Rollers

To enable a gentle, damage-free transfer from screen to screen a powered rubber covered roller or a row of rubber notched stars are fitted.
